In August of 2009, husband and wife team Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia launched their namesake ready-to-wear label, Sachin + Babi with a desire to “bring couture products to the contemporary girl.”

For over a decade prior, the duo’s existing company ANK Embroideries was a major resource in the couture world, designing and manufacturing embroideries for some of the biggest fashion houses including de la Renta, YSL and Derek Lam.

Growing up in India, Sachin intimately explored the world of fashion and design while helping evolve his family’s design factories in Bombay.

Sachin came to the U.S. to attend FIT in New York. While earning a degree in Textile Design, he met his future wife and business partner Babi, who had a personal passion for design.

Sachin + Babi combines what is fashionable and classic with what is edgy and trend driven. It is created of fine fabrics and finishes evident in a luxury line, yet is available at a much more accessible, contemporary price point.

Since its inception two and a half years ago, Sachin + Babi has expanded and evolved into a globally coveted fashion brand, and Bella Rosa is thrilled to represent this fashion collection.
